Paul – I fitted this after I took delivery of the boat. However a manual quick release also would work for jibing the pole which can be dipped behind the forestay.

Lars – You can choose to have the pole downhaul double or single ended. The set up was originally planned to enable double pole jibes, may be a rare manoeuver these days.
On the subject of spinnakers and the pole set up. The babystay doesn’t have a quick release on Setri. Can you walk me through how the baby stay is tensioned. When jibing the pole how it is released so then pole can pass through the foretriangle.
